Please remind me; do we expect an update site to work when we are running uDig 
from an Eclipse IDE? I ask because I am not sure having never debugged this 
kind of code before. 
We may want to export the application as a standalone and then try the update 
site code?

If that does not work I would expect that we have a problem with our definition 
of update sites; and we could check each one we define?
