Thanks so far, I have seen the "release" branch but had no clue what
it is for ...
And there is also a "real" 1.2.x branch that was created from git svn
(https://github.com/uDig/udig-platform/tree/1.2.x) properly we could
rename or tag 1.2.x  to something else and rename the "release" branch
to 1.2.x I guess that is what everybody would expect if looking at
listed branches.

Anyway, I try to figure out how to do this ... but I'm still confused
about the structure right now. Furthermore I've now idea what the
branch "fpagnamenta" is for, I guess Jessy can clarify ..
