You can ask on the imageio-ext list; as far as I know if the format is listed it should function. If you want we could maintain list of formats that have failed our own QA and restrict them from that list .. but it would be kind to offer a bug report. > Do we have a supported gdal format list somewhere we can check our > JRE's against.
