Yes google hangouts (record to youtube) is working, used for LocationTech last night, and James Free has been hosting some entertaining chats. > I am talking about very short functionalities, kind of: > - how to enable the legend on a map > - how to import a WMS > - how to use the ROI > - how to calculate a map of aspect > - etc etc
Oh are you taking requests? I want to know how to use the gt-grid based map decorator that kengu is working on. How about: - configure and use hot-links - document attachments - graticule decorator (when available) - review of the advanced tools with Marco :-) > I would like to vote about this, because if we do it, we have to do it > regularly and with passion and we need to be a minimum number of > contributors. So I think what you want is volunteers (rather than just a vote). I volunteer, I do ask that we keep with the conversation (google hangout) approach as this is much more friendly / entertaining then just a demo. It is also a good idea to have some bullet points written down of what functionality you want to demo. > If we do this, I would start to create a list of proposed > howto-do-the-thing in the wiki with also the week numbers.
