What do you think about involving the community to go through the
walkthrought's? I guess everybody is interested to get a stable
release.

maybe we can plan for the future the following things :
- create release candidates like 1.3.3-RC1 ... and provide links at
the user mailing list
- in additional tweet something like this from the udigGIS account :
  "uDig Release (1.3.3) is ready for testing. Please go through
Walkthrough 1 & 2 and give us feedback, download :
http://udig.refractions.net/files/downloads/branches";

- and lets say after a 4 week testing phase we can create a final
release. It would help us to plan (in private and business) to focus
in this release phases. I like the half year release cycle from OSGeo
Live DVD. Everybody knows whats coming next and can plan

What do you think? Any suggestions? Lets discuss ;)

Cheers
Frank
