Ah, Now I see:
-       window_mem[i] is an _address_ because the variable has more than one
        dimension. So, it is perfectly valid code.
-       fimg is already freed so it is certainly not a 64 bit issue but a
        genuine fix in the ufraw version of this function which lead to the
        change.

Please forget my bug report. I errored up this time and should read
the code more carefully. sorry,
