It's an old IBM Netfinity 5600. I've tried an IDE DVD drive but, for
some reason, I can't get it to work.

The server has dual PIII 1Ghz CPUs. The NIC that's in the box (Intel
PCI-X 64bit 1000 MT Server Adapter
<http://www.intel.com/network/connectivity/products/pro1000mt_server_ada
pter.htm> ) has PXE but it doesn't come up as part of POST.

I've even ran the Intel tool to enable PXE via floppy
(http://www.intel.com/support/network/sb/cs-009229.htm).

Which system is it?

I take it that it is too old to mount the ISO via the ILOM?

I have a server with CDROM only and no PXE boot (yes it's old).

Solaris 10 u8 is only available on DVD L

I have another server with a functional Jumpstart Environment with
Update 8 setup for deployment.

I've read that you can initiate a Jumpstart build from Grub
(CDROM/Floppy).

Any assistance on how I can get u8 on this server?

The server has an Intel e1000g (MT Server Adapter).

Thanks J

p.s. I want to use ZFS boot (mirror) of course
