CHELSEA MULLS POST-COLLEGE CONSULTANT JOB AT $100G SALARY

GRAND FUTURE:  Chelsea Clinton has been offered
a $100,000 job after she completes a post graduate
course at Oxford in the Spring.

Most College grads start at the old fashioned bottom in business -
unless, of course, they happen to be Chelsea Clinton, who will not so much
hit the deck running as glide from school room to boardroom on a carpet of
industry-pledged cash.

The aspiring "business analyst" and daughter of former President Bill
Clinton is set to transit smartly from a final term at Oxford to a $100,000
a year "entry level" post with McKinsey, the New York based management
consultancy.

Clinton, who turns 23 next week, has expressed her intention to become a
health care consultant after interning at the World Health Organization in
Geneva on a summer vacation.

She also reportedly had been considering a competing offer from the
Boston Group, based in Northboro, but calls to the firm were not immediately
returned.

The former first daughter reportedly found McKinsey's initial offer of
$60,000 a year INSULTING to one with her record of accomplishments, and held
out until the company sweetened the deal by adding a $40,000 sum sufficient
in itself to enchant the ambitious graduate.

McKinsey spokesman said, "Every applicant is treated with the same
degree of confidentiality by McKinsey and company."

However, a company source told the Times of London, "To hear people talk
in McKinsey, you would think Chelsea is arriving tomorrow.  But what is
certain is that she has been offered the job and has expressed great
interest, but has not yet formally accepted it."

While Presidential children can safely expect to graduate with a name, a
lucrative job is not always so assured as in the case of Ms. Clinton.

For example, Amy Carter Wentzel, daughter of President Jimmy Carter,
spent her college years protesting against apartheid, earning three arrests
in the process.  She now keeps a lower profile, residing with her family in
Atlanta.

How much will President Bush's twin daughters earn when they graduate from
College? Your guess is as good as mine. Good night.
