Fellow citizens:
Moses Ali  and his boss Yoweri Museveni should NOT  encourage  Ugandan Civilians ( either  in Northern or Eastern Uganda)  to fight  in NRM's wars.

What  will happen if civilians  response to  the NRM call to fight  KONY REBELS .

Naturally  "KONY REBELS " ( who ever they are )  are going to respond by targeting civilians and civilian institutions such as  schools ( as has happen in Eweru's  village!!!)  Let the NRM/UPDF/NRA  fight it's wars... spare yourselves fellow citizens!!

Fight Rebellion, Moses Ali Appeals

New Vision (Kampala)August 25, 2003
Posted to the web August 25, 2003 Kampala THE First deputy Prime minister, Lt. Gen Moses Ali, has urged Ugandans to be patriotic and defend the country against rebellion, reports Richard Komakech.Ali, who is also the Minister for Disaster Preparedness, said rebellion retards development. He appealed to Ugandans to show solidarity with troubled regions and develop self-defence mechanisms to supplement the army.

The minister was on Friday addressing over 200 delegates at an international seminar of the Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace (IIFWP), in Kampala. He commended Teso and its Arrow Group for flushing out Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army rebels, from the area. Ali is the IIFWP chairman in Uganda.

Ali said it was unfortunate that the Gulu Archbishop labelled the group suicidal, adding the army would stick to its in efforts in fighting the rebels."I think the Archbishop was going beyond his responsibility to say people who have decided to defend themselves are dangerous.

Let them do what they feel is right to them," Ali said."We all know that government forces can't be everywhere, so these the Iteso turned to the last resort by defending themselves," Ali said.Cardinal Emmanuel Wamala said people should advocate for peace and practice tolerance to avoid conflict.

"The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the state."
