I get very concerned with the closure of Uganda politics, honestly how long
has the name of Gen Mugisha Muntu been in circulation? Almost twenty years
!!!!!!! And this is bad in two ways {a} We as Ugandans have spent twenty
plus years without generating young politicians to replace him, we take it
that Mugisha Muntu still is the best option out there, and I am using this
name just as sheer example. Politics change and it goes with speed, we need
some young minds and brains but we are suffocating them for we think that
Mugisha Muntu after remaining in politics for twenty years is the still only
option out there. {b} Mugisha Muntu himself has stalled. Tell me one person
that does only one thing for twenty years plus and tell me that he does not
have a progressive failure. Look at yourself, is what you are doing today
what you did twenty years ago? Why has he failed to see anything outside
squatting in an FDC office? There are millions of things to do in Uganda,
did his parents craft a constitution on his head that he will die in
politics? Politics has never been a profession, we join it to serve the
country and we leave it for we go into it when we have a profession, what
happened to his profession in the last twenty plus years? And these are the
straight questions we need to ask ourselves as we build little dictators in
opposition before they become major tyrants in state house, for when you see
a man squatting in opposition that long, don't expect a caterpillar to
remove him from state house if he ever becomes a head of state. And God
forbid. If you ever start a debate of term limits, expand it to include the
time one has to be in politics for there are people that have stayed in
Uganda politics way longer than Yoweri Museveni, why do you target him and
not them?

Brother Abbey Semuwemba, Muntu has all along been demonstrative that he is a
better alternative than Besigye. There is no way he will allow to act under
Besigye's shadow.
Nyerere and others you have mentined were lucky that they led ruling
parties. If one leads a party to victory regularly, there no way he may not
create a personal cult. But Besigye has been a perennial looser, like our
elder Paul Ssemogerere, and he has to go.
