Right. We don't want a Windoze/MacOS-like system where one *MUST* have a
working GUI to be able to do anything. I'm personally a command line freak
(the only icon I use is the one that launches xterm :), and as such, as
believe the best way to go is to make sure the system is equally useful
both from the command line and from the GUI. One should *NEVER* have to use
the GUI to accomplish a certain task, just as one should *NEVER* have to use
the command line to accomplish a certain task (in terms of configuring the
system etc...).
Last time I browsed the Wiki it seemed that the general opinion is pretty
much the same. Is that still true? I hope so.
