Just because an address block isn't advertised in the DFZ doesn't mean it
isn't being used.

There's nothing wrong with using globally unique (i.e. registered) IP
addresses internally for your own use.  Again, this is a standard use case.

This whole conversation is veering into "lets keep IPv4 going for as long
as we can" when we should be putting all our effort into IPv6 adoption.
There is no other future for the Internet.  Talking about "freeing up"
"unused" IPv4 is futile.
