We have problem to run all RIA Suite demos in applet version if Firefox (3.6.10, JavaSE 1.6u21) and Chrome 6 in proxy environment. In Firefox after entering url (http://ulc.canoo.com/demos/ulcset_applet.jsp) page starts to download applet with dependent jars. When downloading is finished the background of page changes to lightgrey and then freezes for 3-6 seconds. After that background changes again to black and Java Console crashes (disappear without a message). This problem exists with our ULC application too. It crashes only in proxy environment. It's a magic, but the problem doesn't exists in IE, even with proxy! Java Webstart works properly always.
Configuration of browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome) and Java (in Control Panel) are set to use system network preferences. System is Windows XP SP3 without antivirus/firewall. LAN router provides proxy auto configuration service (WPAD).
What could be the cause of this strange behaviour? Maybe you know how to fix it?
