Hi Janak, I'm sorry for the delay in my reply, i was out of my office for a two weeks.The problem with applet version exists in network with restricted internet access - direct connections are prohibited and all traffic is going through proxy server (https too). After analyzing of trace logs from IE, Firefox and Chrome i've noticed that system proxy settings aren't applied to java plugin, or java plugin doesn't use them in Firefox and Chrome. So if network rejects proxy=DIRECT requests you have to:
- IE: configure proxy in browser or control panel only- Firefox/Chrome: configure proxy in browser or use system wide internet configuration AND (!) set proxy in Java Plugin Control Panel (after this setting kill Java process or reboot computer).
What do you think about it - is it bug in Java Plugin?
