Great Mortality On Shipboard

>From the New York Tribune of November 29
The packet ship 'Constellation', Captain ALLEN, thirty-four days from
Liverpool, arrived at quarantine yesterday morning. The
'Constellation' left Liverpool with 922 passengers of whom 100 died
upon the voyage.

There were 20 sick on arrival, who were taken to the hospital.

The death of Mrs. Martha DAGGETT and her daughter in the
'Constellation' left four children in a helpless situation. They have
been taken ashore to the hospital by the crew of the medical officers
boat and will be kindly cared for until their father, who resides in
Herkimer County, in this state, can be apprised of their arriral.

The pocket ship 'Hibernia', Captain MALONEY, arrived yesterday morning
from Liverpool, with 380 passengers. The 'Hibernia' lost 33 of her
passengers on the voyage.
