The National Library Ireland (NLI) is offering a couple on line events

WB Yeats: Folklore and Fairy Tales

On Wednesday, 29th September at 11am, explore the myths and legends of
Irish fairy tales. This talk will explore WB Yeats’ personal interest
in Irish folklore with a close reading of some of his well known works
that feature both the magic and the darker side of Irish fairy tales.

Starting from Wednesday, 8th September at 2pm, Sean Murphy, lecturer
and genealogist teaches his beginners course on Irish family history
research at the NLI. Introduction to Genealogy will take place via
Zoom on Wednesday afternoons over an 8-week period between September
and October. The course fee is €100
