I would highly recommend checking the rest if you can. There may be more working than you'd think. You'll need to borrow someone's working computer and connect and disconnect pieces one at a time (which will take a while, yes). I'd offer mine, but I'm 3000 miles away. If you do wind up with a diskless system, you might look into davfs (if your webhost supports dav). I don't know if Knoppix has it, but I think LiveGentoo does. HtH, --Daniel
