I don't have recommendations per-se, but I noticed that Juicereceiver used
to be iPodder. There are still linux iPodder files available on
Sourceforge

And I also ran across another project that may have some relationship
called CastPodder

Those might be worth checking out.

ah, i must be running behind the times. I don't have an ipod, but i see
plenty things on google with linux + podcast. So, what's the
recommendation here to use?
