As does Fedora and RHEL.
Does Fedora really come with a patent protection warranty even though
its users pay nothing to Red Hat in exchange?
Matt
I just double checked, and now I'm not totally sure. I'm going to have
to check with some others. I just reviewed a couple of the fedora legal
stuff @ http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Legal/Licenses
There is the Contributor License Agreement
(http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Legal/Licenses/CLA) which basically
states the contributor releases all copyright to Red Hat for included
projects. I'm not 100% sure if that means infringements are pushed back
to the contributor -- I definitely need to check on this. Will get back
when I find out more.
