Why would something like this be inappropriate? It's a very important tool that
enough of us were interested in that we came just to hear you speak and teach us
more about it! Thank you for you knowledge and enthusiasm and for sharing both
with the rest of us.
I'd love some sort of PART II on rsync that covers the highlights of 3.0.0, once
you have had a chance to really play with the final version for a bit.
