I have used both Avast! and aegis anti-virus solutions from an Ubuntu
LiveCD environment with reasonable success for such a purpose. You will
have to install the 'NTFS Configuration Tool' in order to mount your
Windows drive read-write as well (otherwise you'll only be able to find,
not remove, viral files).
I've also heard of people getting Spybot S&D to run under Wine, although
I have never done so personally.
Good luck!

Does anyone know of a product (hopefully free) that can clean a Windows

I guess I need a good malware tool that runs on Linux and cleans NTFS
volumes.
Thanks.
