Wouldnt that be the same as creating a partition of the HD? Or is it just
creating a directory within the windows OS that Kubuntu uses and never leaves
that directory?
It creates a file and then creates linux partitions within that file. As
far as windows is concerned that is just a 10GB (for example) file.
Whereas linux will see its own partition format (ext3) in that file,
while booting. I haven't tried it out, so I am unsure how many
partitions it creates within that file.
