Hi,
I’m Tianwei Liu, from China. I’m a postgraduate major in Computer Science
and Engineering at Dalian University of Technology. Summer of code is a
very exciting opportunity and Umit is a particularly exciting project to
work on. I’m really interesting in networking especially in security of
programming.
I have looked through all the project pages especially the ideas page. I
believe that I am able to help complete the Network Scanner developer. I
have used Python to implement a lot of network security tools such as IRC
server detector, DDOS attacker and LAN network sniffer and so on. I am
pretty good at python2 and I believe in “life is short, use python”. I also
have read the section of the nmap source code, so I think I can speed up
the Network Scanner development.
I would really appreciate if I could get some more detailed information
regarding this project (I have already downloaded the source code and
configured the project environment) in order to submit a fine proposal.
