That's too bad. I was already wondering ... is NOONE using Windows 2000 
anymore? Did they just switch over to Windows XP when they encountered all the 
problems with Windows 2000? Or is Win2k just "outdated"?

Well, I'm not at the point that another user wants to start Office yet. I'll 
get to that problem once I can install Office. ;)

Where the hell did you read that in the article posted above? o.O
What I found in the Microsoft Knowledgebase is this article:

Office 2000 is asking for the Windows CD because of the Windows File Protection 
kicking in. I tried to fix the problem with the additional lines in 
unattended.txt but it seems it only worked for Windows XP, not for Windows 2000.

I'll try that today. Need to burn a Windows 2000 SP4 CD first. Only got some 
original Windows 2000 CDs without any SP ... But there must be some way to 
install Office 2000 unattended. Inserting the Windows CD just is not an option.
