Reading carefully your question : >>"2. does it work when you manually partition the disk using the above parted >>commands?"
No...in fact it work when i partition with Gparted (booting from a CD). I will try to make it manually. But i don't know how in fact (if the installation drop to shell I can type the commands right ?) C/H/S does not multiply out to 488281250 Program parted is using a deprecated SCSI ioctl, please convert it to SG_IO But according to what i read here it's not a problem. I can't see any other error. I have corrected the install.pl (1.147 -> 1.148) >>"2. does it work when you manually partition the disk using the above parted >>commands?" --> Yes, if i create the partition manually and i comment the 2 lines it's ok. This is the way i am doing for theses PCs...but as I will have 45 five PC to do in a row...I have to find the solution >>"3. Something like that ? format_cmd="format /y /z:seriously /q /u /a /v: c: ; format /y /z:seriously /q /u /a /v: d:" ?? Change SATA AHCI to plain old SATA in BIOS and everything should work. Tibo _____________________________________________________________________________ Envoyez avec Yahoo! Mail.
