i am thinking about the recovery partition some OEM manufacturers do/create on
clients PCs. In a context of a computer shop, clients come in to fix there
computers or just reinstall windows from scratch, they hook their computers to
the computer lan and they redo the installation themself entering their
information like user data and windows serial number, they sit down watch tv,
read, have lunch or browser for new upgrades for their computers while their
systems is being updated and reinstalled automatically, which takes arround 20
minutes, once everything is completed they can activate their system right at
the store if they want and leave with a new system. I could become another
source of business for the computer shop and less time consuming for the
clients doing installations and updates there after.

i wasn't aware of the possibility for this. i am a new unattended user for
about a week and a half now and to tell the truth i have some hard time with my
linux box booting from PXE, for now i am using a windows box to boot PXE data
and a linux box for smb shares.

cheers,

Israel
