I have updated: http://www.geocities.com/i18nguy/unicode-example.html
Persian and Yiddish have been added and Armenian has changed. I had a request to add the appropriate "lang" to each cell, to improve display by user agents. I have added what I think is appropriate for each entry. I would be grateful if these were reviewed and also I would like feedback as to whether the addition has made a difference in the browser you are using. (I didn't notice a difference.) There are several entries that I left blank and would be interested to know the right value to use. Identifying the language proved interesting in a few cases. What is the right lang value to use for Belgian Flemish? Is dz-BT right for the Bhutan entry? The French Braille entry proved thought provoking. Knowing the language is French may help the display of latin writing, I wasn't sure if it would help or hurt the Braille display. I wasn't sure what to use for the Yugoslav entry, and also wondered if the same language is in either of two scripts, whether the lang value is sufficient. For those of you that have submitted entries that I haven't used, I apologize but I am now only adding entries that demonstrate new characters or features of Unicode that are not already covered. I think going for variety over size makes the demo more compelling and makes the point more clearly. Also, the work to enter and validate each entry is not insignficant... tex -- ------------------------------------------------------------- Tex Texin Director, International Business mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Tel: +1-781-280-4271 the Progress Company Fax: +1-781-280-4655 ------------------------------------------------------------- For a compelling demonstration for Unicode: http://www.geocities.com/i18nguy/unicode-example.html
