Sure, one can imagine users wanting it. But the likely reality is that the small number of typical users (who generally don't know the first thing about CGJs) who actually become aware of the possibility will try it, discover they can only find a small number of fonts that support 20e3 at all, and only enclosing one character at that, and so will adjust their expectations, after which brief time they won't be wanting to use 20e3 in this way again.
