I need a small, light-duty web server to serve in-RAM database queries quickly. I would like to just add a table-based data object to a Unicon web server, if there is an open-source one. Any suggestions? examples? libraries? I have been using simpleserver, CGI, & Unicon for simpler stuff, but I want to try in-RAM data to do fast selects that match 100's of rows. I have used MySQL with Unicon, but that is really overkill (& memory hog).
