Watching the dotnet discussion, just wondering does anyone have any stats on
how many Unicon users are using the M$ platform as opposed to open source
OS's (linux, freebsd, netbsd, etc). Seems to me that someone made the
observation that per, python and Ruby were not supporting dot.net at this
time and had no efforts under way, BUT all three of those have native support
in Apache: modperl, pymod, and Rubymod. Seems to me that a native unicon
module and the solid support that is already in Unicon for mySQL support
would be a much bigger boost for the adoption of Unicon then DotNet support,
that has to be orders of magnitude harder to implemement (just a wild guess).
Clint has the crux of the thing in what it is that folks are interested in
coding, but I think a discussion on what is good for the language itself is
useful too.
I also have a disdain for lending support in anyway to one of the largest
Unsupporters, of the Free (as in Stallman free) Gnu/Linux platform that I
have used since '96. I just think that open source should support open
source projects FIRST, then help out poor ol' M$ when that is done.
  Just my 2cents.
