Hi,

This is probably one of those tiresome newbie questions, but I'm new to Unicon and could do with a little enlightenment. I've spent all of today trying to get the latest sources from CVS to build, both with the recommended mingw toolset and also with Visual C++ 7.1, and I'm getting absolutely nowhere. I can force a build of icont by executing mkicont.bat (which the makefile refuses to call) but even then running "make Unicon" doesn't result in iconx being built so the whole build process derails. I've tried both the W-Configure-xxx and NT-Configure-xxx options but with no success.

On a related but tangental track, my real interest in building from scratch is because I'm looking at integrating SDL and OpenAL for a project I'm working on. It appears the loadfunc feature has been implemented for Windows at last (as you can see, I've been out of the Icon community for a few years) and I could probably achieve the same effect that way, and I was wondering if anyone has much experience of using this feature under Windows and how well it performs.
