[snip compilation woes]
Just to cheer myself up I built the latest CVS sources under Fedora core. A completely painless task, and now I have unicon for use in CGI applications >:)
I'm thinking tomorrow of building a VC++ 7.1 solution for compiling the sources under windows and seeing if that gets me any further. Otherwise I suspect I'll have to bug people for a detailed explanation of their build environments.
