Thanks for the report.  While Steve's answer may be useful, your message
sounds like
an optimizing compiler (iconc/unicon -C) bug report, which reminds me to ask
myself:
"why am I so dysfunctional with Unicon's sourceforge bug tracking system?" I
think the
answer is that it wasn't sending me an e-mail when a bug report was filed,
so today I
went in and hopefully found the spot where I could turn that on.  In any
case, routine
bug reports should be posted on source forge, ideally with e-mail to me or
the person
maintaining the relevant code if that is known.  When you are not sure if it
is a bug
report, or a coding question, or if you think a bug is a security issue or
other emergency,
then by all means posting to the group is appropriate.

Regarding this particular bug, Mike Wilder will probably follow-up with you
if it is an
optimizing compiler bug, and otherwise I'll follow-up with you after I've
had a chance
to look into it.
