I regret that I vaped the code producing the "semi-colon" error message, 
though I had got
it compiling by adding the required 'do'.

There seem to be a good many unfinished projects connected with Unicon 
because of
lack of resources. I wonder if it would be helpful if these could be 
costed in some way
to quantify what would be required.
