Boy did you hit on one of my major pet peeves. Bike riders on the pavements can be described in two words: Candy Ass.This is one reason why I don't ride my bike much anymore. It's _terrifying_ to imagine riding along, and some asshole in a car clipping my handlebars, sending me spiraling into the pavement while he just zooms along, mumbling "Fuckin' candyass bike rider..."
In other words, anyone who's got the balls to ride a bike in this city doesn't deserve the name "candy-ass."
There's a reason why I used to stick to the sidewalks. They're safer.
