you're right about Meineke.  Meineke was recommended to me when I found
out that a Mitsubishi muffler would cost close to $300.  the guy at
Meineke fashioned several pipes together to make the muffler for my car
(it needed to be an S shape) and saved me about $200.  In fact, it was
my experience that the mechanics I knew at that time all recommended
Meineke over Midas for honesty and ability.

I have had a very good experience with the Meineke on 49th and Spruce.  I have only
dealt with one mechanic, his name is Mike.  He has always taken the time to explain
exactly what is wrong with the car and has saved me quite a bit of money.  They do
same day service.  I even got a ride to work today when I dropped my car off to get
something fixed.
