seven days.
The notes in parenthesis are mine - feel free to ignore, delete or
improve in YOUR response.
This is just for fun, since the list misses most of the older, long time
home owners and most of the landlords and actually only represents about
250 (and some of those "merely" tenants) of the THOUSANDS of affected
properties, but maybe self-categorization will require some thought and
might even show some trends.
Please only choose a category if you live in or own property in
University City.
So far, the assignment of names to categories was by my best guesses
based upon past postings.
Please confirm or correct me. I'll be happy to move people into other
categories if I guessed wrong. So, please join in...
FOR Historic Designation
(the expensive, fussy, designer label)
---------------------------------
Sure of 3 : Melani Lamond, Jim Lilly, John "Sugar..."
Probably 4 more : Brian Choplick, Greg Oliveri, Dan Myers, Elliot Stern
W-t-D TOTAL = 7
AGAINST forced Historic Designation
(added expense and regulation with dubious added value)
----------------------------------------
Sure of 8: Sharrieff Ali, Scott Beibin, Charles Buchholtz, Liz Campion,
Al Krigman, Brian Siano, Richard Welter, Tony West
Probably 6 more : Ross Bender, Robert Gasparro, Richard & ?Ivy?
Hotchkiss, Marilynn Logan, Ray Rorke,
W-t-D TOTAL = 14
SEEKING further information
----------------------------------------
Probably : Mark Krull (oops, he seemed honest in his questioning, but
moved out of Philly)
Is anti- HD really winning 2/1 on a list I thought might be biased toward
fussiness and control? Or is it just easier for me to hear the words of
like minded people. Your confirmations and additions will tell!
