I think my talking to them about their trash, and eventually getting them
ticketed for it instead of me is what got me the dead mouse ("hehe, let's
put it in that guy's yard, the one who's always knocking on our door saying
'I found this envelope under this half a ton of garbage...'"). As for the
barking dog people, I haven't figured out exactly which house the dog's in
yet, but it's on my list of things to do. I did have half a mind to yell out
the window "Why isn't your baby in bed? It's freaking midnight!!" last
night, but figured it wouldn't get anywhere. I'm open to suggestions though.

I am curious - how much of this discomfort with your immediate neighbors do
you actually share with them?  Are they aware of how you feel?  Do you cc
them on these complaints to the greater community?  In all fairness, you
probably should.

Talking to them might about it might be a good first step.
