i'm sad to report that there was another burglary, this time on my block (4700 hazel), yesterday morning. it was around 6am and there were people around, and the burglar threw a very heavy stone through the window in someone's front door, and took some possessions that had been hanging on a coatrack in the lobby.
fortunately, no one was hurt, and the person got her wallet etc. back. i don't think that the thief has been apprehended yet. obviously, this is making people on my block uncomfortable, so we're working on getting our outside lights working, making sure doors are secure, and valuables / possessions aren't visible. i'm sad that this is necessary. sarah ---- You are receiving this because you are subscribed to the list named "UnivCity."
