Donors must be in good health and should be over age 18. (They can be as young as 17 with parental permission.)   Liz,   You forgot to mention that guys must must be heterosexual!     Perhaps you could use some of your persuasiveness to get the Red Cross to lift the ban against gay men donating blood.     Fred ( 1 pint short of a gallon donor before the ban went into place) Wolfe
