It's not so simple to say, "let's be civil" when this type of activity is on going. I guess I should be used to it since I was the target of this type of thing before I got involved with this list. All of these nasty tricks that are used in these power plays are much different when people are on the receiving end of these things. I don't know what to say when the same people that watch this stuff criticize my tone when I don't cower against the bullying. It's like when people are chanting, "hell no we won't go," and all the good people jump up and down about the protesters bad language. There is a lot of rotten stuff in our district culture and I blame the UCD process for causing it to flourish. This set-up shows the lengths that some would go to try to silence dissent. It was no accident that my character was attacked with this attempt.
