Hi guys -
Speaking of stray cats ... found one myself today. Her timing was impeccable -
2 friends and I had just finished planning a humane ed class for the UCAL
Animal Appreciation Arts Camp about animal overpopulation and pet needs, and we
were leaving via the back vet school exit when, out pops this little missy from
under a dumpster, about to run into rush hour traffic when my friend dove for
her and covered her in a sweatshirt. Now she is safe and sound with me (and
eating up a storm) but I really need to find her a home since I have another
adult female stray I am trying to re-home, two resident older cats, and
technically we are not supposed to have any pets. And my fiance is beginning
to think I am a budding cat hoarder!!

So ... here is our girl's information, please email me if you might have
interest, she is so adorable and cautious but sweet:
Calico (i.e. female, mainly white base color with orange and black large patches
of fur), about 3 mos old, healthy for a lone kitten on the streets (no upper
respiratory, normal eyes and vision, normal stools) just treated her for fleas,
ticks and worms. I can probably get her spayed soon too, at PACCA. Her
personality - she cautiously watched me as I slowly put my fingers on her head
and chin to pet her and then she fell asleep with her head on my palm, and
started purring. So cautious but needs some TLC I think. She meows when left
alone but she calms right down when you talk gaga to her, and then falls back
asleep. I think all strays must sleep with one eye open always to protect
themselves.

I have her staying in a cat carrier in our bedroom right now (live in a 1BR and
need to keep the other jealous adult cats away from her at all costs) but would
love more space for her.

Anyone interested in adopting or fostering this cute girl? Or have friends
interested? If so *** please *** email me back!!! I am a bit desperate to
find a good home for her as I am leaving town next week for a few days!!

Thanks!!
