the restored mansion would be in permanent shadow during the daytime, all year round. that has not always been the case, but it will be as a result of this particular 'restoration'.
I haven't said anything about this hotel's shadow on other people's properties, but it's apparent by now that the residents living on pine street along the hotel's north will see a permanent 11-story wall when they look out their front windows, while the residents on baltimore ave along its south will see a permanent 11-story wall when they look out their back windows.
