A very fair question.

I own my own house in this neighborhood, on which I paid off the mortgage a few years ago. I have no other property to speak of. My per-capita income is below the US national average. I have no institutional, academic or business connection with Penn or any other university in this state and I never had. I never had occasion to seek a zoning variance on my real property. I have also been a renter. I have actually made love with renters and even married two of them (not at the same time). I edit a newspaper to which the good graces of both Penn and the A-Space are economically meaningless, so my boss doesn't care what anybody on this list thinks. I make a modest living by listening to everybody I talk to and trying to boil down what they say accurately and fairly, understanding all the while it is an impossible quest for any of us.

Could you take the lead on the questions you ask in this thread and share your information first?

If you do, I'll do the same (or you could just google me - they know everything about me already).

Maybe everyone else will see how important and relevant it is to this discussion.

Looking forward to learning more about your personal life!
