To prevent a trash fine, I found myself separating her recycling from her real trash. It turns out she was an "Imelda Marcus" of size 6 shoes. Some that she discarded were brand new, with tags still intact. The include "Ralph Lauren", "Naturalizer" and other brands known to me. One pair of side zip, platform, ankle boots in black leather, might give your tween a start to a fab Halloween costume. I lined up at least 20 pairs, along the fence at the equivalent of 4801 Cedar Avenue. they range from slippers to patent leather flats, from flip flops to boots. There are also a few purses, hanging from the fence. I left a bag of recycled plastic bags hooked into the fence to ease carrying the shoes away. Anything left at the end of the day, will probably be carried to 2nd Mile Center or the "Free Stuff" box at 49th and Baltimore. I didn't have time to do it this morning, and hoped some neighbors would enjoy the 'installation' and free shoes. All the best!
