Moses Jiggetts passed away on December 18th while on a visit to family in
Atlanta, GA at the age of 23. Moses was known to many people of all ages
throughout the neighborhood; he attended Lea School and St. Francis de Sales
School. He was was one of the first members of the re-chartered Boy Scout
Troop 152, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and continuing with the Troop
as an Assistant Scoutmaster. He was an early participant in the Clark Park
Youth Soccer League, and when he had passed the maximum age to play, began
the tradition of players returning as junior assistant coaches. Moses was
involved in many of the musical activities of the neighborhood, including
co-hosting The Rotunda's "Gathering" as AG3NT M.O.E.

Moses was always visible around the neighborhood; cruising on his
skateboard, DJ'ing block parties on Larchwood Avenue, or instigating the
infamous snowstorm football games at Clark Park. He was taken from us by
complications of Still's Disease, a rare autoimmune disorder that he had
battled since 2004.

Those who would like an opportunity to remember Moses and say goodbye are
invited to join his family for his funeral Mass on Saturday, January 2nd at
Noon, at St. Francis de Sales Church, followed by a potluck lunch and
celebration of his life in the school hall.
