Hi everyone, In the winter I asked listserv members to recommend furnace installers. We were converting from oil to gas. Several people graciously responded, and we had four heating/plumbing specialists review the job and give estimates. In the end, we chose Jim O'Brien, who was recommended by a listserv member. O'Brien turned out to have decades of experience with the heating systems in our neighborhood.
We'll report back again in the winter when the system is really put to the test. But for now—and I guess this is the season that people replace heaters—we'd like to say, we are very pleased with the work Jim did. He's also an exceedingly thoughtful and accommodating person to deal with. Thanks, again, to those who took the time to email or call us in response to our post.
