Starting last fall, new FCC rules say we should only be getting telemarketing
calls if we agreed with a company in advance to get them. That's not my
experience, and I'm guessing it's not yours, either.

The telemarketing industry is pushing back on these new FCC rules. To make sure
industry doesn't get its way, and that we actually get some peace and quiet at
dinnertime, Americans need to speak out in support of these rules.

I just took action at Consumers Union's website demanding the FCC take strong,
immediate action to enforce their rules. That means going after those companies
who are still telemarketing to us against our wishes.

Just go to Consumers Union website to add your own message. It's easy, and will
help us get some peace and quiet in our homes!
