yes, I can see that the server is looking for an alac command. However mplayer is set up to handle files with extension .m4a (aac and alac) in both custom-convert.conf and types.conf.
Why/how is the server looking for a separate alac line in the convert.conf? I used the same setup with 6.3 and playback of both types of .m4a files worked fine.
