I only use port 9000 and nothing else on my SuSe 10.1 linux system uses but sometimes after I shut slimserver and try to restart, I get that error.
There are no stray slimserver apps running nor did "netstat -al" show any process using/listening on 9000. This also happened with 6.3.x. I usually reboot the system and I can use slimserver on port 9000 as before. Since there are no slimserver apps open - the problem is partly SuSe's fault but I think it may have something to do with testing of different version of slimserver. Have you tried rebooting your system and seeing whether the problem goes away ? -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32396 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
